Location; The domestic terminal has a car rental that is separate from the one in the international terminal. Make sure you go to the correct one, even when returning the car. I think Google Maps does not distinguish between the two, so you will just have to follow signs when you get to the airport. I booked a car rental with Thrifty through a third party website. Very easy and convenient to collect and return. If you return at the domestic airport, you need to take the bus transfer to the international airport. Should just return at the international airport instead. The car was perfect no issues! EV (hybrid) saves us a lot on fuel.
⚠ Trigger warning: drug paraphernalia ⚠ I picked up a polestar 2 last week from this location. After driving 30 minutes, upon parking the car, I noticed a syringe and two needles had been left inside a cubby hole in the driver's area (not an insulin needle). I returned the car (which was otherwise awesome) due to feeling unsafe. The friendly staff offered a 20% discount and no charging fees upon the replacement cars return as compensation. They have polestar for a good price. Good experience trying an electric car. Changing my review to 4 stars after they charged an extra 2 dollars for a few percent of missing battery. Despite it not being a large amount and as stated in the contact it just seems a little bit nitpicky. Car goes out at 90%, gets returned almost at 90% should be considered good enough. Not sure how you’d expect somebody to charge the car and keep the battery at the exact same level of 90% before returning.
Friendly, informative and efficient service. The pick up and drop off were a breeze. Car was exactly what I needed, not what I originally booked but the staff educated me 😁
