When we moved here from Illinois we had a hard time finding someone who cared and she actually cared and worried about my daughter if you want someone who cares go see her she’s not like others she won’t just give u meds for any reason she will give u them if needed
I recently visited Dr.Thirtala, I am so glad I switched to her, saw lot of improvement in myself, she was so kind and took care of me very well.
Dr. Thirtula is kind and takes the time to listen to what is going on with you. Her approach to meds is very thorough and when she prescribes something she takes into consideration whether you tolerate meds well or need to go slowly to build up to the proper dose.
Dr. Thirtala is very pleasant, friendly, listens to her patients, and prescribes medication which is best for them, I am seeing her for past 6 months and improved a lot. I will highly recommend her.
She is a great doctor. Very kind and thorough. Her approach to meds is well thought out and she’s always thinking of the best way to help you.
Staff at St Peters office is no help. Who lets a 14 year old patient who needs her medication do without because she hasn't been seen in the past year. All I asked for was a partial refill until an appointment (problems with insurance) was made. All they could say was she hasn't been seen in a year. So it's ok to let a suicidal patient go without and experience withdrawals. Very callous cold staff. They wouldn't even let me talk to doctor. I will take this further. Disgraceful.
Extremely disappointing experience. I waited 3 months to get into this doctor and she showed up 6 minutes late to a 20 minute new patient evaluation. She then proceeded to tell me there is nothing she can do for me unless I get records from a prior doctor (nobody informed me of this during my 3 month wait). I expressed that I had difficulty in the past getting records from this doctor. She then told me she can't help me unless I do. Overall very disappointed with the visit. Doctor was extremely inattentive and ultimately disinterested which is the last thing you want from your psychiatrist. Use other alternatives in your network or pay out of pocket if necessary.
Doesn’t know very much about medications. Will do what is easiest for her and not thinking about what’s best for the patient.
