Absolutely wonderful experience at Thrive! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The clinic itself is clean, bright, and has a very comforting atmosphere that immediately put both me and my pet at ease. If I could give zero stars I would. I brought my senior dog to Thrive when my regular vet was unavailable, hoping they could help as she was struggling to keep food down and in obvious pain. Unfortunately, they did not provide the care she needed. They cleaned her ears and sent me home with nausea medication, but failed to address her underlying issues. Two days later, she passed away. Thrive Pet Clinic on South Lamar is heaven sent. The love and care that was given to my family pet Stone and the understanding and patience that was shown to me was outstanding. Dr. Cody Higdon and his team really love their patients and their job.

Dr. Boone is a great vet. Despite her being a good vet, I would not take my animal here because of the front desk staff. Unfortunately my dog was sick and we brought him in. About 2 weeks later he became significantly sicker and was having increased respiratory issues that were concerning. After messaging with Dr. Boone she suggested I make an appointment to come in and have him evaluated. I cannot speak to the vet care, since I couldn't get past the incompetent, mean girl front desk staff. Denise, the practice manager, is one of the rudest women I've ever spoken with. Not a single one of the front desk staff has even basic phone skills. I was calling about care for a 15 year old dog. They did not care. It was as if I were interrupting their mean girl gossiping at work. They need to grow up if they want to keep their jobs. As for Denise's reply here, she's lying and inventing nonsense.
