Absolutely wonderful experience at Thrive! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The clinic itself is clean, bright, and has a very comforting atmosphere that immediately put both me and my pet at ease. The Veterinarian was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain everything about my pet’s health and treatment options. I appreciated how patient and compassionate she was, answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns I had. The support staff was equall... read more
Dr. Boone is a great vet. Despite her being a good vet, I would not take my animal here because of the front desk staff. Unfortunately my dog was sick and we brought him in. About 2 weeks later he became significantly sicker and was having increased respiratory issues that were concerning. Thrive Pet Clinic on South Lamar is heaven sent. The love and care that was given to my family pet Stone and the understanding and patience that was shown to me was outstanding. Dr. Cody Higdon and his team really love their patients and their job.

Well I had to pay about $2,000 for some medication and an X-ray with blood work to be told that he needed to stay 24 to 32 hours with them since he was high on sodium!(Keep in mind I asked them what Sodium is all they told me was he needed water and they just couldn’t tell me why it happened or what is was!!!!!)And that I would need to pay around $3,300 for him to stay I was devastated because we had already paid $2,000 (w... read more
It’s time for me to find a new affordable vet. I understand higher costs at mainstream clinics, but when a place advertises affordability, it feels misleading. I brought in my young cat for a simple case of feline acne, expecting a topical treatment. Instead, I was pushed to pay $250 for vaccinations that weren’t necessary and didn’t even get to see the vet. While the staff is friendly and competent, I can’t shake the feeling that they’re upselling rather than focusing on what’s needed. I’ll be looking for a new veterinarian... read more
