I feel that Lauren is a very good counselor. I consider her not just as a counselor but also a friend. I’ve come to believe that it was ok to live in a shell. After just a few sessions with her I’ve learned to come out of my shell and to speak freely to people. Now I’m doing and speaking up to people in a way that without her I don’t think that I would be able to succeed. I feel that Lauren is someone that I should’ve been connected with, and I’m glad that I found her!
Lauren Block is an excellent therapist. I was hesitant when I started, but she's so easy to talk to and I now look forward to our meetings. So happy I found her!
My wife attended a session with a counsellor through Thriveworks. Their counsellors are good, but their billing practices are borderline abusive. They do not inform you about all the costs and options upfront, and charge you erroneous amounts, quite often several hundreds of dollars. And there is no clear path to resolution, and their staff always place blame on the patient. This is not how a counselling service should work. I would give them a negative 10 if I could but unfortunately that's not an option although the counselors are decent. The people that handle the payables are not they will take your money out of your account without your permission not send you the information that you asked for when you want to dispute the charges and the next thing you know they'll just suck all the money out of your account beware of this company they will steal your money

Lauren Block is an awesome therapist. She has helped me through some very tough situations. I don't think I would have made it through the past year if she weren't there for me. She is one of the best therapists I've ever had. She even lets my sister be there during our sessions! My sister wants to say that she's awesome, amazing and her and I both agree that Lauren has helped me a lot.
