I really wish there were negative stars. Their nurse practitioner that I saw was unethical, unreliable, and does not truly care about her patients. I have been trying to get in touch with office stuff and end up calling whatever virtual number with receptionist who barely understand you. My job told me to drive to office because that can help the process. Ha ha office space is a front and it’s just a building to hold LLC. Karen is great! I was glad she shared things we have in common. She is a great listener and I am a talker. I felt comfortable and safe sharing. She told me what I knew but it’s better to come from a professional. I have already set into place her recommendations. She validated my feelings. I hope in future sessions I can learn how to better handle my difficulties.
Found a great therapist for my daughter but she left thrive works only a few weeks in and I can’t say that I blame her. They are HORRIBLE with billing and reimbursement. They were so quick to take my money but after they realized I had insurance (which was communicated before I booked my appointments) they took forever to reimburse my money. My daughter had three sessions with Stella Daniel’s. Two of which were cut short and one they talked mostly about Stella and her upcoming move. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Also possible violation of patient confidentiality as someone could be heard in the background. I may file a formal complaint on that alone. We will give Thriveworks another opportunity to be professional and hopefully choose a therapist who actually cares about what they are doing. I decided to go with Thriveworks because they have over 4 star reviews. I worked with Stella for my daughter and only had 1 session the introduction session. However, we booked a second session and Stella never contacted me to say she could not make it, so my daughter and I sat in the waiting room for over 35 mins. Sent an email and she never responded. I would not recommend Stella for any mom with a teenager seeking therapy. She appears to be very nice, but does not care about your time- seems to be there just there for the... read more
