For nearly a year I had been looking for a therapist for my eight year old son who struggles with confidence issues after being terribly bullied years prior in his previous school. Most child therapists in my area had a ridiculously long wait period, if they even returned my phone calls, due to my son “not being in an emergent situation”. I am so happy that I found Cydney. She lis a good listener and then offers me a solid direction to start to change harmful behaviors. Not at all what I expected. I think I’ll be ok!
In my conversations with Pierre, I am very happy with the help and attitude I get from him. He is a solid therapist.
Good, I want to not feel so guilty and hurt all the time. Feeling empowered to take on hard stuff this next week.
Awful experience. Counselor was 15 minutes late, showed up and was disengaged, trying to figure out her screen the entire time, and got frustrated when I had questions about the process. Ended up leaving session early. Never going back. Find a private practice.
