Thriveworks is an absolute nightmare when it comes to billing and customer service! Our insurance covers a certain number of sessions and Gave us an EAP code to give to the therapist before our first session (for my daughter), ***which we did***. We got billed for every session with increasing amounts and by the time we realized (about 6 weeks in) my daughter had turned 18 and they would no longer talk to me even though she's covered under it insurance and we set everything up. This office is a scam. They booked us for an appt. in Knoxville. The address is a bar. When I called they then told me the appt was over two hours away and charged me a cancellation fee despite abundant proof that we were told and indeed went to the false address. The provider was then no longer on the site so I am included to believe that at least some of these profiles are false. I was then told that they would waive the fee if I rescheduled. Absolutely loved working with Krystal. She was patient, calm, knowledgable, and professional. She is a somatic therapist and she knows her stuff. I was self-soothing and able to cope better within days of working with her. She made me feel seen and helped me create a safety plan that worked for me.
It’s been good for me to share family situations and other life‘s challenges with John. It’s my first experience with a counselor, and the sessions have been very beneficial.
