had my first session with Leon Walker at Thriveworks, and I couldn’t be more pleased. From the start, he was kind, a great listener, and explained the process thoroughly, which immediately put me at ease. His empathy and understanding made me feel truly heard, and I appreciate the thoughtful approach he takes. I’m confident that we’re going to be a great match, and I’m looking forward to this journey. Highly recommend!

I’m giving 2 of 5 because the provider showed up on time. There was no effort to make eye contact by Grace until the end of the session. She launched immediately into rote questions and seemed disinterested in the process and especially me. It was clear from the start that this person wasn’t invested in building rapport for an ongoing relationship. … love it when you waste your entire Friday evening, and plan your entire night around a session, and the clinician doesn’t even have the decency to email, or call you? They arbitrarily made a decision to cancel our session, over 12 hours ago and no phone call or notice was sent. Nothing. We call the number and it’s some call center-a very remote call center. No managers. Nothing. Incredibly unprofessional considering why we are here and what we are going through, and quite frankly inexcusable.

Thriveworks is a great place to access for counseling. The company is very organized. These days it's not easy to get an appointment for mental health services, but the folks at Thriveworks are very efficient and make sure you have an appointment in hand the day you make your first call. The appointment will be within a reasonable period of time too. Their front-line customer service people know how to listen and understand your needs, so they match you with the right therapist. I am very impressed!

I find Sam very easy to speak with. She listens and asked pertinent questions. I believe we’re a good fit and am hopeful she will help with my situation.
