I am extremely unhappy with the level of communication with Thriveworks. I love my therapist, but it took almost a month for them to pair me with my original therapist even though she notified them that a lot of her patients were switching to this company. I have strep throat and attempted to cancel at least 70 hours before my appointment, and I was completely ignored! I have been charged for a no-show and can’t seem to reach support. The billing has been chaotic. They only did 4 of the 10 bills correctly with my insurance. They say they will correct in 24 to 48 hours now saying 15 days. One person said do I have another insurance. One said can my insurance fix it. I literally had to explain that thriveworks does the billing not the insurance company and they still didn't get it. I've been on the phone with them at least 20 hours. Twice as much as the appointments. It's been a horrible experience.
Love my therapists with Thriveworks. They're great women but overall, Thriveworks will auto draft you without your consent and then say, "But you signed the consent". I didn't sign up for autopay. I am in this problem right now. I pay my statements every week on my own but they double drafted me. Do not leave your card on file! I requested mine to be removed.
I like customer service and the counselor was decent. She did freak when we missed an apt due to an emergency surgery I had. Just assumed we'd quit which was weird but overall not a bad experience.... until it came to billing. They auto draft your account with no notice and then we ended service over a month ago and we were still having money drafted. Tried calling multiple times and you can't get through to the billing department. Was on hold one time for 1 hour and 30 mins and then their system hung up on me. It's infuriat... read more
Susan Wills is wonderful. She has a tremendous amount of experience and was very helpful during a troubling time. She provided me with coping tools and practices that helped me address intense anxiety, anger, and frustration. You need to be willing to address the pain and be interested in getting better of course.
