I had the daunting task of finding a child therapist that my daughter would actually want to talk to. I have tried in the past with less than desirable results. My two zoom appointments with a psychiatrist didn’t go well. She had a radio (tv?) playing so loudly in the background I had put on closed captioning to understand her. The closed captioning was even picking up the words from whatever it was. The consultation was for trouble focusing so it was really distracting having noise in the background. As an international student in the United States, I had a hard time balancing my lifestyle in university.
