Used the appointment scheduling website to schedule an initial appointment like the main website says to do on the "Book Your Session" page. Selected "Any available clinician" and was given a tentative appointment date by the system. Day of appointment, got a call saying that clinician doesn't accept new patients and the appointment was cancelled. How is a new patient supposed to know what clinicians are available? Update: I received a call from Kat, the owner, who was amazing in trying to find a therapist for my child. Communication was great and she was very kind and compassionate. Called to schedule appointment for child. Was told only one person available and they do teletherapy and no insurance accepted. I said no. I am very disappointed
There are people in this world that go above and beyond their duties and show you that they care. I made an appointment for my daughter and received a call back from Cat the same day. Unfortunately, our insurance was not in-network for her to be seen at Thriveworks. That's when Cat went the extra mile and put out a lifeline to her colleagues to find an agency that would accept our insurance AND be the best fit for what my daughter needs.
