I recently had my first appointment with Katelyn and despite my initial nervousness, she immediately put me at ease. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answered all my questions thoroughly, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Her thoughtful questions made me feel truly heard and validated. She promptly provided the necessary screenings, and my second appt is in a few weeks, which is great as most places are behind! I really appreciate the attention to detail and notes that my provider keeps to follow up with me. I like that she is able to listen to me with her full attention and identify major themes in the difficulties I’m facing. So grateful for the care I receive here!
I am generally not a fan of remote medical visits, but I was very impressed by Thriveworks Counseling and Psychiatric’s platform. It was easy to navigate. I was also very satisfied with the provider Dawn Hartman. She was an excellent listener!
If you’re hesitant to get any type of metal health service through this company, don’t be. I was at first but Katelyn has been the best psychiatrist I’ve had BY FAR, I feel like I have so much input on what I feel like is the best next step when it comes to my medication management. HIGHLY recommend Thriveworks 😁

I came to Thriveworks for help after losing access to my regular psychiatrist. I was almost out of my ADHD medication (Adderall), which I’ve taken safely and successfully since I was 15 - I am turning 19 next month. The receptionist was lovely, but the psychiatrist I saw, Chinwe Ezeukwu, was awful. After just one intake session, she tried to switch me off of Adderall to a non-stimulant ADHD medication, and prescribed me medications I’ve already tried and had bad reactions to.
