I had a frustrating experience with Thriveworks due to a scheduling issue. They have a very strict policy and charge a $135 late/no-show fee, even in cases where the scheduling error may not have been thriveworks fault. Their approach feels overly rigid and profit-driven, which was disappointing.
I just had my first telehealth visit with Leslie at Thriveworks Counseling yesterday. It went very well.... Leslie allowed me to talk about my situation, she truly listened, and then responded with compassion and demonstrated knowledge and experience with other persons who experience problems similarly to my own reactions. I was reassured by her counseling, her demeanor, and her competency and look forward to working with her to find "work-arounds" that will help me with anxiety in the coming weeks and beyond if necessary.
I have nothing but great things to say. I felt very comfortable talking to Mr. Smoot. He was a great listener. He was perfyfor my Husband and I would definitely recommend Thrive.
From chatting with support over the phone when having difficulty signing up to actually meeting with the therapist, my experience with Thriveworks Counseling has been unparalleled.
