I just had my first telehealth visit with Leslie at Thriveworks Counseling yesterday. It went very well.... Leslie allowed me to talk about my situation, she truly listened, and then responded with compassion and demonstrated knowledge and experience with other persons who experience problems similarly to my own reactions. I was reassured by her counseling, her demeanor, and her competency and look forward to working with her to find "work-arounds" that will help me with anxiety in the coming weeks and beyond if necessary.
From chatting with support over the phone when having difficulty signing up to actually meeting with the therapist, my experience with Thriveworks Counseling has been unparalleled. I'm no stranger to therapy, but I've always struggled with trying to find a therapist with flexible hours that fit my busy work schedule. I have been seeing my therapist weekly for about 6 weeks, and met with my nurse-practitioner(about medication) twice. Both were easy to talk with, very knowledgeable, and (after almost a year of misery) able to give me help and make me feel hopeful and "more like me". I am so grateful and can't thank them enough. And the ThriveWorks company is extremely good at giving reminders for meetings.
The customer service for Thriveworks is out of this world. I was able to get an appointment same week at the time I needed. I was set up with a therapist who is caring and helpful. I've been seeing him for a month now and making good strides dealing with my anxiety, depression, and bipolar. Every encounter with anyone at Thriveworks has been amazing.
I have been working with Mrs. Stacey Jaundoo also known as Mrs. Stacey Scott for the past couple of months. She has been a blessing and truly has been graced with the knowledge to understand and communicate well for her client to receive advice. She is a non-judgemental and compassionate person. I have seen a major shift (growth) in my mental, physical and spiritual self which has changed the way I approach and view circumstances in life.
