I was drawn to one of the primary therapists listed on Psychology Today with a great profile. She then referred me to an associate in online North Haven who was such a disappointment. I worked with her for 6 months and I can't even remember her name. I was really P/O'd when she told me I shouldn't feel the way I feel! Be skeptical about referrals.
Update- May 7, 2024......I started out with some admin issues, but once I learned their systems, it is terrific. Everyone is very professional and the top people listened to me. This is a very good provider. Do not stop asking for what you want and need and Thrive will help you. I changed my stars from a couple (2) to five due to the quality of the therapists and ease of appointments. I love the professionals delivering the service, JF and GR.

Professionalism is necessary in every provider-client relationship. I do not feel like I received this during my first psychiatric appointment. My ex-provider repeatedly asked me the same questions throughout our first meeting because he was not paying attention. Moreover, he did not inquire into my background and trauma like therapists and psychiatrists do. Having that information is important for making diagnoses and adequate medication advice. It a very good session, he was Familiar and knowledgeable about my condition. I'm very intentive to what I was saying, I didn't feel Pressure or rush in answering questions or my thoughts. I'm looking forward to the next session and I'm very happy. Thank you so much
