Sought to make an appointment for my teenager as i thought this was a community type service. Dont accept my insurance. Dont accept private pay. Rude customer service. Conclusion: Doubt this is a good resource to their local community. Dont know whom they serve but i’ll pass!
I made my first appointment with Thriveworks over the phone and requested the free trial, gave my insurance information to the receptionist (who was very nice and helpful), and then went to my appointment a bit later. After a few appointments, I was notified by my credit card that there was a charge of several hundred dollars from Thriveworks. I've seen Thomas Michler only 2 times now, but so far he is much more understanding and easier to talk to than the psychiatrist I was seeing for months. We've already discussed things for me to get in the habit of doing like writing down when I'm doing something we've specifically spoken about, tracking when I do something to see if there's a pattern, etc.. I'm actually about to schedule another appointment with him!
I highly recommend Tom Michler. With the support of Tom over the years, I was able to shed myself of expectations others held for me and move towards a space of acceptance and love for myself. Tom does an amazing job actively listening to me. I get the sense that he deeply understands me by bringing genuineness and authenticity to each meeting. In other words, he accepts me for who I am. The world needs more Tom Michler’s.
Tom Michler is hands down the best therapist you will find here! His years of experience and expertise will help guide you in meeting whatever goal you are trying to achieve. He’s thoughtful and compassionate, but most importantly, he’s Real.
