I had an amazing first session with Jennifer. First sessions are always an intake. So it was my history, what happened, how did you get here and where are you now sort of thing. I could tell that she was honestly listening and was empathetic. I’m looking forward to our next session.
Update: they have called me every day to try to get me to book an appointment. This is outright harassment at this point. And when I spoke to the representative that called this morning, he used my therapist's dead name and misgendered him. When I called him out on this, he was incredibly dismissive and continued to misgender my therapist. Please, if you are considering using Thriveworks, take the time to find a different practice. Stephanie is a very careful listener. Meaning she hears the words, how you say the words, and then your expression. And then she gives this amazing insight and wisdom of seeing yourself in a different light. A very skilled and caring therapist. Highly recommend!
Thrive works billing is absolutely the worst Company I’ve dealt with since retiring from the military. I put a complaint in with tricare to have them removed. The talk therapy was not good and I was charged for late fees when I want late. The therapist told me to let her know if I couldn’t make it to an appointment and they still charged me a bunch of BS fees. Absolute trash company with trash customer service.
Jennifer Ferris has helped me feel more calm and less. Anxious and is truly an effective and experienced professional Licensed Social Worker
