Lena Nganga is a skilled practitioner. She is a deep listener who connects with emotions and asks insightful thought provoking questions. She demonstrates compassion and caring while giving straight feedback that helps me think through issues. Finally, she is one of those rare clinicians who also educates you with sound knowledge of the cause and impact of issues I am dealing with without being pedantic. I am glad I was partnered with her.
I have just started my first session with a counselor from thriveworks and I have to say even just apon meeting the counselor that will be assisting me in my mental health and wellness journey, im so excited to proceed with therapy through thriveworks. If other counselors associated with this organization are anything as personable and caring as the counselor that was selected for me, it warms my heart to know that other people will recieve quality counseling and help from people that actually care!
Amy Chamberlin walked me thru HOW simply talking to a Learned Professional, can induce Thoughts, more in line with my Reality, and often, how Realistic solutions can appear, help understanding, most of my problems are Karmic, I pulled said consequences from possibilities, which I must deal with, with calm measured thinking, rather than having a depressing feeling/idea, and embracing it, untested, rather than examining options that may "come to mind".
Nanette is wonderful! She listens, has great things to say and is so positive.
I love the tools I am being givin to help me with anxiety and everyday life. I feel like I am making a lot of progress!
