I scheduled my appointment last week and the clinician canceled my appointment the day of less than two hours before the appointment time. I called in the hopes of scheduling with someone else since it was our first time anyways and they said because it was canceled less than 48 hours advance notice I can’t reschedule for 24 hours. I told them I didn’t cancel it the clinician did and they said they still couldn’t help me reschedule regardless of who canceled it. I like my therapist and the many options for times to meet with them. Thriveworks admin support is very helpful and responds in a timely manner. I recommend this to anyone who wants telehealth counseling.
I’m extremely happy with my new clinician but very disappointed in Thriveworks with the process of having medical records sent to my PCP. I initially filled out documents in which one was a medical records release. This form included all of my PCP’s information including the fax number. I requested for my records to be sent and heard nothing. The clinicians are fantastic - it's the admin team that is horrible. I followed my therapist from her old practice to Thriveworks. When setting up an appointment with her at Thriveworks, I checked if they take my insurance. They verified that my clinician takes my insurance. Please note, they make it mandatory that you have a credit card on file in order to schedule your first appointment.
