I was hesitant to do therapy via Zoom vs in person, but as it turns out I fractured my leg a few days prior to my first session, so doing therapy via Zoom became a necessity. I was very pleased with visit with the counselor I had chosen. The first visit it always a "getting to know you" session, but Cathrin was a great listener and interjected thoughtful remarks throughout the session as well. Nothing in person here . Smh . Also I was lied to on the phone about how long the therapists has been in her profession. Smh .
Had one session. The entire hour was spent asking questions that could have been answered in a paper questionnaire. Was told if my insurance didn't cover the I would pay $200. Apparently, when they charge insurance, they charge them $395. Well my insurance is saying no, we're not covering anything. So now I owe an extra $200 for a session I got nothing out of. Go elsewhere or make Super Double Sure that your insurance will cover.
I never write reviews but Thrive Works is a huge scam. I called to discuss an appointment and I decided during the phone call that Thrive Works is not for me, as they seem to have no knowledge in cluster b personality disorders, so I told the man who answered that I would not be booking an appointment. He pressured me into booking an appointment and would not take no for an answer, and he assured me that I would be able to cancel should I find somewhere else for therapy. Megan has been a wonderful therapist and been so helpful in these hard times. She is an incredible listener and someone who helps me work through so many different things. I very glad I found her.
