My first session with Brandie went well. The second appointment was much different. I arrived about 10 minutes early, but the office door was locked. I waited outside in the cold for about 30 minutes before anyone arrived. Brandie came about 20 minutes late. I understand that things happen and people run late. I wouldn’t have minded nearly as much if someone had called or sent a quick message, or if there had already been more established rapport. Thanks to Kathryn Lane, my daughter has developed the desire to become a therapist in the future and help other children, just as Kathryn helped her. Kathryn was a great emotional support for my daughter. Professionally, she is dedicated, responsible, and highly committed, and on a human level, she is a truly wonderful, compassionate, and caring person. Thriveworks as a whole has been a wonderful experience so far. The staff when you call in are always helpful and kind in the way they speak. If they don’t know an answer they will get find out and follow up with you. My therapist, Matthew Smith, is amazing. I could write a novel on how much he has helped me in such a short time. I have been working with Matt Smith through Thriveworks for close to a year now, if I could give this more than 5 stars I would! Matt has an amazing ability to truly listen to what I'm saying and help me process / build a strategy to overcome all the challenges and puzzles life brings.
