I’ve tried the carrot, I’ve tried the stick. Because the people who own Thriveworks do not speak English as their primary language they are not responsive to the psychological needs of their clients. I had a pleasant experience. The office was clean, quiet. My therapist was professional, courteous and pleasant to talk to.
I felt comfortable immediately with my therapist. She was caring, compassionate and friendly. The Zoom session connected easily and I had a good video image the entire time. Only thing I wish is sessions could be longer lol! I could have talked to her for another hour! It was very easy to register with Thriveworks. Emails for appointment reminder, forms to be electronically signed and my therapist sent me an email with her information. I definitely recommend Thriveworks for mental health care. Cindy
I possibly would have given this more stars but I am pretty much appalled by the missed appointment/ cancellation fee. I think $135 is way too much. I understand cancellations are a hassle but when the doctor doesn't even call you for the appointment on the day of the online visit. Plus the window for cancellation is too big 48 hours. I think they are taking advantage of the mental health patients.
