I have been seeing my therapist for several years. After leaving the clinic she was billing through, I expressed my fervent desire to continue seeing her and my resolve not to use that clinic anymore. She also participates with Thriveworks who did an excellent job with intake, insurance qualification and helped with the extra steps necessary to specially use her. They were an excellent, professional, caring, accommodating Godsend.
We were able to get our first appointment within 48 hours. Brad was very professional and was able to target a major problem in our marriage in the first session. My husband and I both pleases with our first session and have already scheduled our second session.
My daughter's new therapist cancelled 30 minutes prior to the appointment via email because some paper wasn't signed that could have been signed when we arrived. This is the second time in a row she has cancelled an appointment, same day via email. My daughter desperately needs to see someone and this makes her feel very unprioritized and it makes me feel rather pissed off because if I were to cancel like that, id get charged money i don't even have. Said they would work with me on a payment plan. Ignored emails and emptied out my account anyway. Ramen noodles and no counciling.
Amy did not show for our 1:00pm appointment (zoom). I waited in front of my computer until 1:45. Did not ever have any advanced communication from her. Called into ThriveWorks to report this incident. Having severe anxiety and depression this was this was the last thing I needed coming from the person is supposed to be helping me.
