This is an amazing carwash I go out of my way to come here. I appreciate the consistency of the wash process. I am never waiting in line for too long. I also love the amenities that are offered. Most places will just have vacuum's and they are clogged half of the time. I like the 2 different vacuum nozzles and the compressed air. Every time I come the towels are always stocked and ready. The site is also always clean here: keep up the good work Dan and his team!
**Damage** please read full. I am a loyal customer to American Pride Carwash off of New Bern in Raleigh NC, however, today I just happened to be in the Cary/apex area and really needed to get my car washed. A friend suggested Tidal Wave, so I took a chance on them. Been there today, 3/13/2025. The staff was friendly, and the car was washed — so that's a plus. Sadly, the wash quality left much to be desired. Maybe my expectations were too high — I thought the whole car can be clean after an $18 wash. Alas, not this time. Wheels, the bottom of the windshield, and rubber sealants at the bottom of all windows remained dirty. And an occasional bird poop stayed right where it was before the wash. I love this car wash because they have so many spots to use with vacuums and small pressure nozzle hoses that gets out all of the crumbs for my kids car seat. They provide towels and spray as well which is super convenient - I’ve liked them out of all the car washes in the triangle. Having the membership is nice because I get to come whenever I want/multiple times a day to use the vacuums, sprays, I’ve never been able to keep my car clean this clean when I was childless- let alone with a 3 year old now!
The overall experience was okay. But the touch free option left my vehicle looking as if it still needed to be cleaned. There were suds left on my windows, which made it even worse than before I arrived. The attendants were nice. The facility itself seemed overall well maintained. I just prefer a good touch free experience, unfortunately this car wash couldn't meet my need.
