Had my car towed there. The service was fast and the repair was fair and reasonably priced. I’m on a budget so that helped tremendously. Great experience from the time I called in to the pick up of the car. Highly recommend!!!
Tidwell took excellent care of my car and were honest and straightforward. There was no pressure from them, just facts. Love working with them and they even worked with my aftermarket warranty company!
I chose Tidwell based upon the research I found online describing the experience for most customers as very customer oriented, quality work that was affordable, and responsive. In my experience, there was very little communication or discussion as I only spoke to front of store staff and the repair was very expensive. The day after bringing the vehicle home, the check engine light has come on. I don't have any money for more repairs. I'm feeling disappointed.
I was at Tidwell auto service last week for a oil leak, which was a real seal and a pan gasket seal. They notified me that my 2008 Ford Ranger needed a sway bar links set also they ordered in and I came back and the installed in while I waited. Without a doubt they were the most pleasant and professional company Ive dealt with in a long time. I would recommend them to my neighbors and friends (which I have).
Go there at your own risk - horrible experience. 15 months ago had my grandson's vehicle's transmission rebuilt. Two days ago his transmission started shaking upon braking. Immediately took to Tidwell - was told the problem was the three motor mounts and the cost to repair was $1k. Authorized the repair. Today we get a call informing us the motor mounts have been installed, however, the problem is not fixed and it "probably" is the transmission - btw we don't work on transmissions at this location.
