I became familiar with Timberland Bank when I had to get smaller bills from my cash withdrawal from BECU. They were extremely helpful and friendly so when my husband and I needed a new joint checking account we chose Timberland. We set up our account with Louise at the Pacific Avenue location. We were both very impressed with her professionalism, alacrity, and warmth. Every employee at both branches are stellar and we’re very happy with our alignment with Timberland. I just opened up a new business account with them!
So I called the bank and explained to them about my uncle's estate and the need to look for accounts. He was very secretive about his finances and we are in search for his accounts so we can close out the account. Instead of talking to us and working with us and our lawyer, they call our 83 year old father and stress out our 77 year old mother. So welcoming!! My brother and I went to open him a bank account and as you walk in they’re so friendly!! They told us to grab a hot coco and take a seat. We waited maybe 2 minutes and a super nice lady helped us make an account. She was informative and friendly. I’m probably going to be switching banks from Wells Fargo to here. Amazing costumer service!
I went a moment ago to cash my check and the cashier was extremely rude and stupid. She checked the computer twice with another woman, I suppose her boss, and they only told me that we cannot cash your check because it does not have funds. They were extremely rude and they put my check and my ID on the counter with contempt. I will never go to that branch. Timberland Bank is absolutely the best, and this is our favorite branch! We love Michelle, Ashley and everyone else that greets us by name when we come in. It is so easy to get stuff done when we call in or come in, the exact opposite of those big banks! So professional and friendly, I would not bank anywhere else.
