first visit for annual physical. ansered all my concers.
Dr. DeRenzo is a terrible doctor. He does NOT listen to is patients. His me advice should be avoided at all! He also put my life in danger, by taking over prescribing my medications, from a previous doctor, and then deciding "he wasn't comfortable prescribing these medications"! I wish I was making that up! When I called to ask what happened, I was told that he no longer wished to have me as a patient. This was flat out DOCTOR ABANDONMENT! Dr. DeRenzo is very unprofessional, unhelpful, and kept talking about science projects for the whole visit. He does not spend any time LISTENING to his patients. When I asked what changes I could make in my diet he told me to stop eating cilantro! I don't get it! He seemed distant, the whole time rinsing out his sink. Not recommended.
Crook god complex and his office suite G02 at albany memorial gave me 4 other peoples medical records just the worst experience of my life
God forbid you are late from let's say an accident that you're stuck waiting for because this happened to me. I called ahead and was only 25 minutes late. I was told he as double booked but no one really in waiting room and had to wait over two hours to be seen for 5 minutes. He no longer has the compassion that's needed to be a good decent doctor! Who does this to someone? Poor staff try to help you but he just doesn't care anymore. I've been his patient for years and have witnessed his down grade in human kindness.
Worst physical I ever had. Very incomplete. I was up all night upset about wasting my annual physical with him and am fortunate that I am in fairly good health. Was told by a staff member that the younger doctors do things differently. Really? No faith whatsoever in the level of knowledge or care and won't be going back.

dr.derenzo is very nasty rude if he puts you on a med and you don't want to take it anymore he starts to treating you like dirt he treats you like you are nobody. you don't do that to people hes just out of control with his mounth he claims he cant fill out or do any paper work say for the light people he use to do it but because he got mad at me because i did not want to take a pain med that he had me on because I got sick really bad off of it please don't go to him if anybody ask him to sign something or have him do someth... read more
Terrible bedside manner and offered no help whatsoever. I had to find a new doctor when my last one moved away. His incompetence shows through. Avoid this doctor!
