On 10/30/25 I spent over 7 hours in the er. I have coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, and a past medical history. I had tests completed but was placed back in the waiting area pending results. I was told ambulances had priority, that’s why I hadn’t seen a doctor or gotten a rm. I left after 5 hrs or so, only to be called back because they saw fluid in my lungs. I was told by 3 different doctors to go this hospital in the ER department so they can attend to what was wrong with me. Instead of receiving any type of help or treatment, the doctor told me there was nothing he could do for me and wanted to prescribe me things that I had already been on many times before. I communicated this to him and still he wanted to just prescribe me something. He was also very nonchalant, showed no compassion and acted as if my situation was not important. I was in the ER since 9pm with my son. Around 1220am the nurse came to ask if the doctor had seen us yet I let them know not yet he came in a few mins later just said why are you here looked at my son and said hes good to leave when I would say something or ask a question he would just be so nonchalant like yes no nodding or telling me thats whats suppose to happen as if I should know the answer how am I suppose to know if i had known what was wrong i would have taken him in basically didnt even bother to ask if I had quest... read more

I am a Heart patient at loyola so I go to the ER more than I want to with chest or back pain .there were a few people in training I mentioned that I was a hard stick. Getting blood from me was very difficult I was poked at least four times..but sitting in the waiting room for five hours my pains weren't cooperating Overall I thank everyone involved in my care that evening nurses were very nice. I am a radiation patient at Loyola. I was unable to urinate. The problem was corrected quite efficiently and Dr. Murray was wonderful in summarizing my condition and how to proceed myself.
