Great job on my shoes. It was brilliant to find a Timpson in my local supermarket. Shoes mended, key cutting and dry cleaning when I get my shopping. It's expensive - £45 for soles and heels x 2 pairs. However, it would have cost me a lot more to replace 1 pair of the shoes I took. It gets busy so think about this if you want your shoes ready when you've finished your shopping.
Went in with two watches that both needed the battery replacing. One of the watch’s was cheap to replace (about 20 quid) but the other was going to cost upwards of 90 quid to replace. The guy I had was called Ben and he was great in explaining why each one costs so different and what options I have in replacing them. In the end I only got the cheap one replaced but he did that in about 5 minutes and the whole job took less than 10 minutes. Would recommend this store to anyone wanting a good cheap service for their watches
Place in ASDa . Keys shoes umbrella watch repair car keys , they have lots of services available. Very convenient if you are going for weekly grocery shopping.
I bought a coat, used it for two months, it was in great condition. I never use the dry cleaners but really loved this coat and was extra careful with it. Timpson ruined the black coat, left it with white patches all over, then said I should complain to Miss Selfridge where I had bought the coat from. Why would I do that when the coat was in great condition when I bought it? Absolute crooks and liars. I basically paid for them to damage my coat. No apology, no refund for the service or the coat that they wrecked.
Got a new strap on the watch and one of the pieces of metal fell out from the numbers. The old man behind the desk was very rude and said nothing he could do it's fell off after you took it... I noticed it as soon as I got home. Told me £25 to repair the damage he caused and it would break again. Disgusting service.
