Dec. 2020.Visited this Shop x3 times,Drove 12 miles + £3 parking fee altogether to Timpsons Shop,key Timpsons cut would not turn in Door lock. Third visit had refund.(OUR KEY ON RIGHT AND 2 KEYS TIMPSONS CUT ON LEFT) Not the same. But we Took Key to Johnson’s in Sainsbury’s by roundabout in Wrexham,Cut Key quickly and guess what Johnsons Key fits.
I popped in, to get a spare key cut for my new to me car. I already had the blank key blade, it just needed cutting and it was fixed on to my spare remote fob. I was met with the answer "I have to buy the whole key and fob off them" in order to getting it cut. Why can't you simply just cut the key I have? Do you not want the custom of cutting a blank key blade and are merely just trying to sell me a remote fob as well? Why do you make things appear to be complicated when their not? Poor quality, expensive key cutting. Poor customer service. I had a key cut at a cost of £12. I had to return twice and both times the man was curt and dismissive, implying that it should work. The key he cut, even after trying a second time was visibly different from the original key. I asked for a refund when I returned it the second time (luckily I had kept my receipt), he was rude and passive aggressive. He asked me repeatedly exactly what was wrong with it.
