I took a pair of shoes for sole replacement. Initially I was advised they would be done by Wednesday. I went on Saturday and they were not ready. They advised that they would be ready by 16:00 on the same day. I went on Sunday and they were still not ready. On Sunday they told me they are working on the pair of shoes and they will be ready in 5 mins. In the end it took them 35 mins to prepare them which I had to wait to pick them up. They had done all the repair in a rush.
If you want crappy quality key cutting, come here! Broke after 3 uses and was told it was "user error" because we twisted it when it wasn't fully in the lock. It was definitely fully in the lock, it snapped in the lock and we had to use pliers to pull out the piece that had snapped. Is the key such bad quality that even if it wasn't fully in the lock, it fully twists and snaps that easily? E17 'stow Mall: good & bad. Cypriot Greek guy was once charming & cost effective for repairing a left boot, then was twice a bit dismissive, not customer-focused and the right boot repair cost x3 what it had been a year before!!! +slow at delivering! Other guy, David good biker size bearded guy was nicer, service +/- cost-effective for 1key cutting (£10) but did not do it completely (see photo)! ...forcing me to come back to get it right😕ofc after that, it worked. Got a key cut in about 2 minutes! I was very impressed. Only cost £9. Would recommend.
Do NOT go here for passport photos. Terrible photo, completely under-exposed, so the system rejected it. Refused to let me look at the shot before he put it on the system, even though I asked more than once - said he needed to check that it would be accepted first, which makes no sense. My guess is he doesn't know what settings to use on the camera for flash synch. On top of that he was really unpleasant and uncooperative. Go to Snappy Snaps across the road, they're slightly more expensive but they have better equipment... read more
