The chap who runs it is the best cobbler in town. He heightens one of my shoes/boots whenever I get a new pair. He does it brilliantly. He’s excellent at his job.
The rudest most unhelpful service, ever!!!!
I took my shoes for repair to Timpson's located at Badger Farm Sainsbury's, Winchester. The repair was to glue the soles and replace the heels. On collection, I noticed the soles were still split so I had to wait for them to be done again. When I returned home, I noticed the heels are coming away and there has been excess glue left on the leather. I'm now unable to return to that branch to get the work done again. Extremely disappointed at the poor and shoddy workmanship provided. I will not be using Timpson again.
Might have been unlucky... just had my boots re healed and when I Iooked at them at home they have ruined the heel surface by sanding, tried to hide it with the wrong colour polish and gave up finishing them on one side so I had to neaten it up with a kitchen knife. My fault for not checking. Be careful if you have anything you really like!
Took in some dey cleaning and was told it would be ready after 4pm the following day. Turned up at 5:5pm to collect only to be told that it wasn't ready because it had been mixed up. Very annoying given I travelled nearly 20mile round trip tlife nothing.
