I just went to Timpson in Jesmond for the second time this week to try to get my car key mended. It was an absolute pain, but with a spare part ordered ( by me) I took it in to see if it could be assembled. All I can say is that the guy in there has the absolute patience of a saint and went above and beyond to help me! And now my key works ! Brilliant!
Amazing job.Unjammed the latch/lock/handle mechanism on my living room door, which wouldn't open. He tried everything before having to drill into the door to unjam the latch and open the door, and drilled so the hole would be hidden by the keyhole cover. He also repaired the original latch mechanism, which would have been almost impossible to replace as it's the original from when the house was built 110 years ago. Thank you so much!
Do not go here for passport/ DVLA photos. They don’t know what they’re doing. Gave me photos that didn’t fit specifications and when I pointed it out they just shrugged and said to try it.
