Took my daughter’s surf watch to have the battery replaced. It was expensive for a watch battery -£25 but the man explained that it would be guaranteed for 12 months. Went surfing and the watch is no longer working. Looked at the guarantee and he had crossed out the water resistance section. I should have checked prior to leaving but we did explain that it was a surf watch to wear whilst surfing.
Couldn’t of asked for better service from Phil, very polite courteous and very professional from the get go , gave me great advice about my watch and said to come back if I needed anything else , this was after being not acknoweldged from his colleague who simply went out to the store room upon my arrival, I can clearly see Phil is absolute asset to the brand and I believe more people like Phil will give the Timpson the brand to be the leader in there market share! Thanks again!
One star because can't go lower. Went it to winchester branch today just for a favour, im disabled and it effects my hands asewll. I brought a battery the other day, but found i can't put back cover on, so I asked the assistant/manager could he just press the back on for me. In a very bulling voice he told me that they are not allowed to that unless changing battery. I explained im disabled and that went over his head, I believe power over whelm him. Two guy serving one without beard.
Spent £80+ on key cutting for a new store in Winchester. Fast forward 5 months and one of the mortice keys pins has snapped off. Spoke to the store manager and explained the situation, expecting a replacement key after such a short period. He sarcastically told me ‘they don’t just fall off’ and refused to help unless I was willing to cough up another £10 for a replacement. Terrible service. Terrible attitude. Extremely over-priced.
01 07 25 what a guy,called in to ask about stretching a couple of pairs of shoes as lately shoes are giving me heel blisters.The guy was brilliant he said he could but I should check with my GP for any possible gait issues etc etc.He also said raising my heal in the shoe might help.How right he was, heel wedges fitted and no more blisters. What service and professionalism. Thank you.
