Timpson did an excellent job replacing my watch battery, but I was surprised at the £20 cost for a simple battery change. For my next watch, I bought a small watch repair kit and replacement battery online for about £10 total and managed to change it myself in around five minutes.
Went in to get a motor bike key cut today, the ' lady ' who worked there couldn't have been more disinterested. She said " we don't cut bike keys in case it breaks in the lock and we get sued , no we don't do them ". Your website says you do, she just couldn't be arsed if you want my opinion. Then I left Tesco ten minutes later and the timpson place was locked up, shut at 1345 on a Sunday.

I called in for a watch battery on Saturday 08.11.25 and the member of staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to see someone who was happy in his job. I will recommend to family and friends.
Took my watch it for a new battery, paid £25 for lifetime warranty. Unfortunately I noticed a few days later the watch stopped working, I took the watch back along with the card you receive when purchasing the lifetime warranty, the guy was very helpful and replaced the battery at no extra cost. A few people here complaining that they can’t get a replacement battery but if you don’t have a receipt what do you expect? 5* service, will be back with the rest of my watches soon!
