The heal fell off my favourite shoes and I was sure I would never wear them again. I took them into Timpson as a last resort and was so impressed with the service I received. India, who served me, was very friendly and knowledgeable, she seemed rushed off her feet when I arrived but took the time to explain the options to me and my shoes were fixed and ready to collect the next day! Incredible service and at a very reasonable price. I will be spreading the word 👍🏽
Great service on Saturday from India. Took my loved 30 year old, almost falling apart, boots in to be re-heeled at 4.48pm, at 4.58pm had my boots back with heels that looked like new! Thank you India :)
I was asked by an elderly friend to take her to tescos so she could use the photo booth for her driving licence . But as this only accepts email address was not an option as she has no internet. I was advised to use the timpson shop on site . The two staff on duty could not have more helpful and friendly . The service they provided went above and beyond as they bought the photos to my this allowing my friends to sit in the car while we waited. This was very much appreciated . Thank you so much . This was no way to treat someone’s wedding dress. When it was handed in the shop had no suitable storage for it while it was waiting to be picked up by the cleaners. Then they didn’t clean it as the disclaimer hasn’t been signed, but the assistant had never asked for it to be signed. It’s a new store, so hopefully processes will improve as things bed in.
The dry cleaning service is not the best. Took my favourite coat to be dry cleaned and it came back minus a large display pocket button, collar not cleaned and the fibrous life of it starched and squashed. The fluidity of the garment has gone. It was sent back and a similar style button put on, collar cleaned properly this time but the fibrousness and flow of the garment has gone. It is stiff and flat. If you have a favourite and precious item, beware.
