I had a key copy made in Tonbridge (Angel walk) branch and unfortunately the new key couldn’t go into the lock fully because the new key template had a larger shoulder. I popped back to the branch in Tonbridge and I kindly explained the issue. I also showed pictures on my iPhone, demonstrating how the original key goes into the lock and how the new copy gets stuck. Have used for many years. Wayne is a true professional when so many other services nowadays are terrible. Excellent at all he does. Great with customers. Can't recommend highly enough.
After a hellish day of a sick child, locking myself out the house, getting into town not having money for the car park and Ringo of course not working I got to Timpsons where I asked how long would it take to cut one key for me, the help staff member told me it would take 5 mins, but he closed in 3 minutes so I would have to come back tomorrow. Good to know this local shop is doing so well that they can afford to turn away work ! Very simply went to get a key copied from a original car key , even had the blank blade to have it done , but no , he wanted to sell me his for over £50 and not mine which I had bought for £8 , but I guess not enough money to be made just cutting one for me , he was so busy hoovering a machine 😀
15th May - visited the shop and the gentleman there was absolutely brilliant / polite / efficient and charming and of course so professional !!! A great experiences - he replaced batteries in two watches for me !! A small job I’m sure your thinking! But these days you do NOT get service any more !!! This was refreshing - well done kind sir!!!
