It is a shame that I have to post this but I feel future customers need to be made aware and vigilant. Upon my visit with my mother on Saturday to enquire about some shoes to be altered due to a loose elastic strap we entered the shop and I said hello to the gentleman behind the counter only to be looked straight through at with a attitude. I had 2 keys cut here for £18. I expected it to be a bit pricier than other places, but £9 per key felt higher than I anticipated, especially as there was no clear price list on display. The shop was dead and could have done with the door open for some fresh air. For future reference, I’d probably avoid Timpson for key cutting and look elsewhere for better value.
Be careful with this store if youre getting your key cut. I was told on 2 separate occasions that the key i needed cutting would cost £15 because it was a Yale key or something along those lines. It was just your standard front door key for a house. I have since found a store that did it for £3 and simply said i was being ripped off.

The guy with the long hair who works here is the most miserable man I’ve met in my entire life, now we all have a bad day but this is ridiculous, yes you don’t know what everyone is going through but this even pushed me to never step foot back in the kings heath branch ever again I went in there a year or so back to get my moms watch battery replace, she has “lifetime guarantees” from timpsons on all of her watch’s This miserable sod refused my mom (who is in her 60’S bear in mind) to take her card because it was damaged …... read more
