Avoid this place for battery changes! The guy working here was unbelievably rude. I needed help understanding the two battery options, and instead of explaining clearly, he was impatient and condescending. He had zero respect for a customer who just needed a little clarity. Terrible service.
Baden was so welcoming and professional, super quick with my key cutting and checked if I needed anything else before finishing up. Recommend! And I will be coming again for other services as location is also great.
Timpson Walkden. Car key fob battery. Changed my car key fob battery in November. Showing on my dashboard as requiring change. Couldn't find my receipt. The assistant took my word and changed faulty battery. Didn't get the gentlemans name on Thursday. But thank you. Great service.
This shop charged my elderly friend £95 for a watch battery, my friend has two watches the same I took the other to a jeweller near me where they did the same for £10, avoid this shop when replacing watch batteries. Very unhappy about this
Today I went to the Timpsons in Walkden and asked if a screw on my watch could be tightened. Quite literally a twist of finger and thumb. The chap wanted to charge me £14.95 for this simplest and uncomplicated request. When I declided I was told buisess isn't built on good will and freebies. I'd argue a twist of the fingers, for almost £15 is ridiculous and to suggest buisness isn't built on good will is even more so ..... good will causes customers to come back, something I won't be doing at these prices.
