My car key was flashing up on the dash that my car key fob battery needed replacing but was still in working order. I went into the Melton Timpsons and asked if they could replace the key battery. Helpful chap said they could replace the key no problem and it would cost me a little under £30 and take 15mins. I decided to go for the replacement, after all they last a long time. I came back 15mins later to be told my key no longer worked but I wouldn’t be charged for the battery. Thanks I guess… how do we get this sorted then?... read more

Called into the store with a key from my electric bikes battery. I was told it would cost £30 for a replacement key! All I needed was a spare key but not at ANY price!
After experiencing a problem with the lace hole and clip on a fairly new pair of boots, at least 3 shoe repair shops declined attempting a repair … fortunately the Manager at Melton was able to take a look and suggest what he could do. We went ahead and a great job was done at a sensible price .. Thanks!!
