He repaired my watch for me, which I hadn't used for a long time. The staff Rich very polite and courteous. I recommend it to everyone.
They don’t do customer service like this anymore. I went to Timpson in Ealing Broadway on the off chance they might have a very strange battery for an alarm system. The kind gentleman there looked at it and said ‘no’ but then said he thinks it’s just three smaller batteries taped together. He kindly found the batteries and said give it a go. As a Resident of Ealing for 20 years, I have used Timpson (in the Ealing Broadway shopping centre) regularly. I will not be using the service again. I was rudely treated today by the man who works there - he was the only one there today (6 Nov 2025) so he should be easy to identify. I dropped 2 pairs of shoes off on Sat to be have soles with a bit of grip added (birthday presents) and was asked to return on Wed to collect them. The good first. The shoes were repaired well and I was satisfied with the quality of workmanship. The not so good; I made the mistake of prepaying. I thought the cost was high, but as it was years since I had shoes repaired, I thought it was inflation. Having been told by friends that the price I paid £29.95 was steep, I checked online to find I had been overcharged by £10 per pair. Absolutely Terrible Experience – Extremely Unprofessional Service by Richard I’ve never left a review before, but this experience was unacceptable. I had to visit the shop three separate times because the keys they cut didn’t work each time. On my third visit, I discovered the third key was missing from the bag.
