Called in to Timpson Flitwick at closing time, was only for a battery but was very impressed with service. Would be easy not to engage when just about to go home but the chap was very helpful. Will definitely use again. Thank you.
Absolutely terrible. Swearing on the phone as his 'work phone' wasn't working. Playing games, sitting down ignoring people. Got annoyed and rude because he wanted to go on lunch when customers wanted service. I only speak about 1 individual who i had. Got a bracelet engraved. The lack of care was pretty impressive. The engraving was wonky and you could hardly see it. He damaged the braclet by scratching it with what I assume was the clamp used to engrave. Absolutely rip off. £19.95 for a car fob battery. Thought he was joking .No then tells me if I did it myself it would have cost £5.. .So just go else where infuture. His attitude stunk!!!. Talk about ripping people off. Don't deserve the 1 star had to put that just to post review
Not good. I took in two watches for new batteries. Was told that the battery couldn't be replaced in one and it made waterproof again, despite the fact that the battery that's in it now was done in this very shop. When I came to collect the other watch I was told that it was no longer waterproof. I've never had any problems with it before you took it apart and put it back together, and now you're telling me that it's a fault with the watch, not the battery replacement...? The guy in there is very friendly and remembers his customers. He was very apologetic about not being able to finish my heels to his high standards as he didn't want to damage my expensive purple leather shoes. I will go back as he is obviously thorough and considerate and knows what he can do and what limitations he faces with such a variety of footwear in the modern world.
