I left my shoes for reheel and resole on Friday afternoon and was able to pick them up on Tuesday morning which was the service I needed and very much appreciated as part of my travels. They are wearing very well despite lots of walking on cobbles and in national parks. A great service.
After a botched DIY job on my broken Felt Birkenstocks Boston Clogs I brought them to Timspons. The Cobbler took out a big box of spare leather strips and I decided to go two-tone with this nice brown leather option. I went yesterday to do a copy of a key and he wanted to charge me €15 for a copy that today other Locksmith charged me €7, half of it. I think it takes advantage of people because they are on the city Centre, in a tourist zone, probably I won't come back.

Lovely experience last week. Went in with very worn leather shoes where the moulded soles are beyond repair but I love the shoes and so they gave them some first aid without charge and advice on how I could do some DIY to keep them going a bit longer!
