On 8-11-23, I ordered two garments from Tom James and put down a deposit of 50%. However, before telling me my total or taking my down payment of $653.49, my representative, Christian Gerry, said if at any point I wasn’t happy, I had the right to demand a refund. He also reiterated via text on 8-23-23 that I could demand a refund. And by 8-23-23, working with Christian had become untenable, so I asked him to cancel my order and refund my down payment. Tyler Smith has been my professional clothier for 7 years, and he is always prepared, meticulous, and confident when I come to Tom James Company. He isn't good or even great, the guy is awesome to partner with because he goes well beyond my expectations during each interaction. Great company with amazing customers service. I have been working with Tyler Smith out of Norfolk for the past year and he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband had a fitting and ordered a custom suit for our wedding. The order was placed more than five months before our wedding and we were reassured on multiple occasions that time would not be an issue. Up until literally the day before our wedding we received texts and calls where we were lied to and told that the suit was in hand and that they could overnight it to us in time for our wedding.
