This isn't a review of the shop's typical services, because I haven't bought anything from them. But, when I foolishly left my suit (of a different brand) on a train, one of this fine establishment's clients picked it up and brought it to Tom James. Upon checking the pockets and finding my business card, the company's staff called and allowed me to pick up my suit. Clearly these people are wonderful, as are their clients. Heroes!
I have been using Tom James for the last six years and the service just gets better and better. Always friendly, helpful and competitively priced. Paul Adler has really helped me define and grow my unique style that has helped my self-confidence enormously, both in and out of the office.
Tom James is high-end tailoring, at least from my starting point, and I have found that generally speaking you do get what you pay for, in the best sense.
If you're clear on your budget and set the ground rules pretty clearly for the bespoke experience, having made-to-measure business and business-casual wear from Tom James can make a huge positive difference to your professional presence.

I have always enjoyed spending time discussing clothes with Tom Ashton of Tom James. Tom provides useful advice and is always an absolute pleasure to speak with. He has noted my tendency to buy lots of very similar items and has encouraged me to branch out a little.
