The food is lacking flavour, would be nice to have a bit more range for salads and sauces. When asking the staff a question, he huffed and refused to respond. Tables needed cleaning as all were empty but full of trays with rubbish.
Pleasantly surprised to find this place all on my own. Called in during a visit to the German Market and ordered a chicken Quesadillas...Food is so fresh, tasty and options galore... I chose a safe combo however delighted with the flavours... I now feel like I've had the real deal and could not find fault. A solid experience overall. I really appreciate them using bowls for eat-in meals to reduce waste whilst some still use disposable packaging regardless. Shame they provided me with a disposable wooden spoon though. I opted for the large bowl meal with chicken and virtually all the free toppings. With a drink costing £2.20 alone, the £3 upgrade to a meal which includes a drink and bag of tortilla chips, turned out to be great value. Previously had great experiences with Tortilla, including this one. I come here often for the student offer and enjoy a burrito bowl - in fact, I previously had reviewed this location as 5 stars. Unfortunately today, I believe I was served raw chicken. I understand that some fatty bits of chicken sometimes look a bit pink, but I am confident this was raw or at least undercooked. I showed the staff and they tried to tell me it was just thigh meat discolouration, but I've never seen cooked thigh meat look almost translucent ... read more
The main problem is don't expect the staff to help you much as they seem to just want to rush people though as many as possible and they think everything knows exactly what to order automatically..... This was my first ever visit here and I had no idea to what I wanted but it was eye catching place with a wide variety.....
