I visited Tortilla Norwich today (quiet Sunday afternoon) I opted for the chicken with Mexican rice, but unfortunately, the chicken had just run out and was scraped from the bottom of the tray. As a result, I had to pick out a few overcooked, burnt pieces (hard black bits) which was disappointing. For the price, I found the portion size and overall quality underwhelming, especially considering that toppings come at an additional charge, which quickly increases the cost. I haven’t physically been in store, but we’ve ordered from Tortilla many times via uber eats. Unfortunately, we will be avoiding this place moving forward. Since the last time ordering, I’ve been unwell for 4 days which seems to be due to the coriander rice in the item I ordered based off my symptoms. I’m assuming this rice was expired but carelessly used anyways. Was really delicious! Extremely filling and definitely could stretch between two meals. Staff are super friendly, even if the service is a little bit slow, and even apologised for a discount being taken down unexpectedly. Toilet door is interesting and the flush was broken, so maybe avoid using the toilet there.
