I took my Camry for the 80,000 mile service. I was promptly seen and received video feedback while my car was being serviced. The service representative sat down with me and explained the results of the inspection part of the service, made several recommendations, and handled the rest of the service we agreed on. PART 2: While waiting for Ben to come over I was getting Dante to clarify how this oil change ended up so expensive. This is when I found out from Dante that my son had declined the fuel system cleaning, but was charged anyway. The way this business is treating customers is a major issue and they need to be held accountable for their behavior. Spartanburg Toyota’s service center is scamming vulnerable (young, old, and women) customers out of money. We personally experienced this. On 10/10/2025, my son took his perfectly functioning, well maintained, low mileage, 2019 Toyota to Spartanburg Toyota for JUST an oil change. One star is too much. They offered us a coupon for an oil change for $29.95. When we took the car for an oil change and tire rotation, they gave us the estimated cost as around $45. Without notifying us and without our consent, they added several extra fees to more than double the cost of our bill. When we asked about these fees, they refused to remove them and demanded that we pay them. I am highly dissatisfied with their deceitfulness and poor customer service. I strongly recommend that no one use their services.
