The community feels calm, clean, and well-maintained. The maintenance team and office staff are exceptional—always responsive and helpful with any request. Communication from management is timely and reliable, which makes living here a great experience. Maintenance services and the cleanliness of shared spaces are consistently prompt and maintained to a very high standard. Special thank you to maintenance team! 🥰
Not very happy about the usual McKinley shenanigans all us renters put up with, but we have had generally positive experiences with MOST staff at Traver Courts. Alex (retention associate) helped out greatly with our most recent lease renewal and got us a relatively fair deal. Chris with maintenance is the true GOAT and has never let us down. Dude knows his stuff and attends to our repairs in a timely manner.
I have lived at Traver Courts for over three years at this point and I have enjoyed it very much. Everyone in management and maintenance that I have spoken to has been very friendly and helpful and easy to work with. Responsiveness to maintenance requests has been very good. I have no complaints, and will probably live here several more years.
I lived here from June 2023 to Jan 2025, and I would like to recommend it to anyone that is looking for an apartment in A2. Location: quiet neighborhood, nice view, close to the north campus of Umich. Price: reasonable, but to be honest, not the lowest. considering the high rent in A2, I do think it is at an average level. Service: I think they are at a very top level! My husband and I have lived here from 2023-present. We both work for the university and the location is great. We are absolutely amazed and truly feel like home here. 1) We have 2 dogs, the dog park and neighborhood to walk our dogs are beautiful and safe. We moved prior from another complex who was dog friendly, but other tentants did not seem to take care of their pet waste or would have their dog off-leash.
