I contacted them about an appointment that seemed to be billed incorrectly by my insurance company. They advised me not to pay the balance on my account as they would be disputing it with insurance and did not expect I would end up owing it. On December 22, they left a message in MyChart that I would have to pay the balance, and by January they had already sent it to collections. I was a patient at the livonia office. Im writing this review as a warning. Dont go to trinity health. They will give you a covid test, not say anything about the price, then chatge your insurance company $104, which your insurance won't cover and youll be stuck with a bill for something you could have got cheaper elsewhere. Again they surprise you with these charges. Terrible way to treat people in this economy. Then if you message them with questions, they dont answer back. I had my very first, wonderful new patient visit with Dr. Ruthberg. Everyone was very friendly, and the lab worked very efficiently - I got the lab result the same day I was drawn blood! Highly recommend. I'm happy I made a change to Trinity
I’ve been going to Trinity Health Academic Family Medicine for many years and I’ve always had great care. I know it’s a teaching clinic and that’s actually something I like about it. I feel that the Doctors listen to me and hear me and are diligent in my care. Their nurses are very professional, friendly and helpful. Throughout the years the clinic has improved their wait times with check ins and outs and that’s something I really appreciate. No more 90 minute Dr. appointments.
