THE GOOD Friendly staff, committed doctors. The healthcare system is broken. The staff tried their best, but there’s only so much you can do. The registration and triage were quick and easy at 6a, then we waited for 3 hours in the waiting room before they took blood. We waited another 5 hours being treated in the hallway doing labs and tests. Just a bad day to go the ER, I’m sure not every day is like today. Honestly don't come here. St Joes was great and quick and friendly not this trinity health. Been here for over 3 hours and was put in a cold hallway near the front door and haven't seen a room nurse or doctor. I'm just going to leave. They don't care about their patients
Don't go here if you need anything psychiatric or even related to psychiatry. We had been told by multiple (I'm sure very well-meaning) people in the Trinity Health System to go to the ER if my symptoms didn't abate, as the way I was feeling was unbearable. Well, they didn't so we went in. We got there, explained the nuances situation to a few people, and affirmed several times that I had no suicidal/homicidal thoughts. 14 hours and I feel worse than when I went in. Forced to sit in chairs or in the hallway for 6 or more hours is crazy. Some of the nurses and doctors were good but once they decided it was likely I needed to be admitted they just abandoned me in ER hallway and treated me like an inconvenience. Told it was serious enough to keep me 14 hours but treated like I was wasting there time.
